We open the first business meeting of 2025. Yearbooks for 2026 will be distributed. The budget for 2026 will be presented along with review of our events and activities for the year. Sign up sheets for hosts at future meetings will be circulated.
April 8
Laura Donahue Bell from Mountain Laurel Florist in Beacon will present a program on the art of floral design and arranging. Following the presentation and dessert, we will hold our regular business meeting as we discuss plans for the cleanup at the Howland Cultural Center on May 16.

Brian Quinn from One Nature Plant Nursery Will present “Benefits of Gardening Organically.” Regular business meeting to follow
The Howland Center/Patriot’s Garden clean up will be discussed. Plans for the Garden Tour to be finalized, a volunteer sign up sheet will be available.

Regular business meeting. Sign up sheets will be circulated for tour guides to assist at the Secret Gardens of Beacon annual fundraiser. Also reminder that June 15th will be the submission deadline for the Patriotic Garden Contest.

4th Annual Secret Gardens of Beacon tour. Tour starts at the Howland Cultural Center at 12 noon. Geraldine Fuller will be the Chair for this event.

Annual Member Picnic

6:00 p.m. – All members to bring a dish to share, the club will provide hamburgers, hotdogs, condiments, and beverages. Officers will provide the desserts.Winners of the TGC Patriotic Garden Contest will be announced.

Regular business meeting. Requests will be made for volunteers to assist at the annual Mum fundraiser on September 19th. Carole DeMicco, Chair. Solicit volunteers for Spirit of Beacon Day parade table on September 27th. Geraldine Fuller, Chair.

Santa’s Holiday Decorating Workshop and Christmas Party

6 p.m.- Hor d’oeuvres are provided by the members. Wine and beverages will be provided by the Club. Dessert and coffee will be provided by the hosts.
The club will provide spruce, pine, and other fresh greenery, or you may bring your own to create a holiday centerpiece.
Musical entertainment will be provided by club member Diana Ferrara-Norbert.
